We are posting lots of pictures and links to other web sites so you can see the tremendous numbers of special vehicles and enthusiasts at the impressive first year of this event. 

Mark your calendars and plan to participate in the next Daytona Beach Dream Cruise, Oct. 23-25, 2009.

Activities got underway for the Daytona Beach Dream Cruise on Friday evening, Oct. 24, and ran Saturday, Oct. 25, from morning til night, winding down Sunday, Oct. 26 in the early afternoon. Five lucky people who displayed special vehicles at the spectacular gathering at The Aquarium on Sunday each won $200.00 cash. See Schedule of Events for details of the events that took place. We'll be developing and refining a 2009 schedule in the near future.

One of the special features of the 2008 Daytona Beach Dream Cruise was cruising from 11:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 25. The recommended cruising route was along a 9 mile stretch of Atlantic Avenue (A1A) from Ormond Beach through Daytona Beach and into Daytona Beach Shores. There were lots of other activities on Saturday in addition to cruising. For the Oct. 23-25, 2009 Daytona Beach Dream Cruise, we'll be redefining the recommended cruising route and we're considering having several time periods, each perhaps one or two hours long, when cruising will be suggested, so there will be greater concentrations of cruisers. For 2008's inaugural event, special cars and trucks were dispersed and while there were many participating, they were scattered rather than being seen in the significant numbers that were actually here.

The Daytona Beach Dream Cruise will be held the 4^th weekend of October each year, the weekend after the tremendously successful Biketoberfest®, also created by the Daytona Beach Area Convention & Visitors Bureau.

The Daytona Beach area is a super place to live and visit with so much to see and do. Already known for tremendous car & truck events, the Daytona Beach area will play host to this great new event each fall, the Daytona Beach Dream Cruise. This event is intended to be distinct from existing Daytona Beach area automotive events. You'll want to continue to attend them, and add this event as a must see and must do, as well.
